The present container of 10 sheets, which have been reproduced, deals with the most beautiful Quranic illumination and calligraphy in the National Museum of Pakistan. It is hoped that the reader will discover the beauty of some of the most impressive masterpieces of Quran calligraphy and illumination produced in different parts of the world in different times. Each work of art is carefully analyzed and its artistic qualities are briefly described in English, Urdu & Arabic. The contents of each sheet are based on the study of Quranic manuscripts found in several museums and libraries in the world.
